Yesterday, I added the option to add a blog for free on 1 Cool File in exchange of a short review(with a nofollow). Because it’s my site, I added the Contest blog only category just for us. But, instead of a review, I will also accept/prefer a sidebar link to the Contest blog only category. You may use nofollow because I don’t want the PR juice.
Our common goal is that we want to make it easy for contest to be promoted. The more contest blogs post about it, the more entries a contest get and the more happy the organizer is.
Also, more and more bloggers are doing contest but they might not know every single contest blogs. They will find you because of another blog added the link and this will save them time by having them in one place. Again, the more successful a blog contest is, the more others will be tempted to make one.
I added the link in my blogroll but I will also place it at the top of the sidebar instead for more visibility.

In honor of the list, I created a Contest blog only category for us. It’s the only category allowed for us so make us distinct from other blogs. So, those that make contests(submit) or search for contests will be able to use that category. You can also add it to your blogroll to list other blogs like I did.
